The easiest way to manage repeat prescriptions is though the online portal we use called ‘Patient Access’. You can use this to request a repeat prescription and we can also choose a chemist  you would like  your prescription sent to to – saving you having to come down to the surgery.

If you can’t use Patient Access

Patients should take the responsibility for their medications and make sure they order their repeat prescriptions before their medication runs out.  If you can’t use Patient Access for managing your prescriptions, you can fill in a repeat prescription slip in person or make a request via the general practice email. Patients can also ask their nominated pharmacist to request the repeat prescription on their behalf.

Requests for repeat prescriptions will NOT  be accepted over the phone. Please allow 24 hours before collection.

If you are unable to come to the surgery please send the repeat prescription slip by post with a stamped self-addressed envelope and we will be happy to post it back.
